Ciner Resources has been extracting trona from the Green River Basin in Wyoming since 1962. As a global leader in the soda ash industry, we not only feel it is our responsibility to preserve our surrounding environment, but to serve the communities in which we live and work.
From the beginning, we instilled a strong sense of community involvement in our company and employees. Since then, our entrepreneurial spirit has grown to not only be a part of how we do business every day, it defines who we are as individuals and as a company. As a result, Ciner has always had a strong presence in and commitment to our Green River, Wyoming and Atlanta, Georgia communities.
Dedicated to the future, we believe strongly in working hard to give back. Through donations to local non-profit organizations, our annual company-wide United Way Campaigns, and other projects we help to support our local communities. Some of the causes and non-profit organizations Ciner is proud to support includes:
- Meals on Wheels
- Relay for Life
- United Way
- The Boys and Girls Club
- Habitat for Humanity
- Special Olympics
- American Red Cross
Ciner employees aren’t just leaders in the mine and on the job. They also serve as leaders for local charitable organizations and are volunteer firefighters, EMTs, youth sports coaches, and are involved in helping their communities any way they can. We’re proud of our employees, their efforts, and the resulting reputation Ciner holds within our communities. Together, we are building strong relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and communities for a stronger future.
